Setting the butterflies free in P3B

P3B were very proud to finally release Hermione, Ron, Harry, Dumbledore and Voldemort last week. We thoroughly enjoyed watching them grow from teeny tiny caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. We have a sneaky suspicion that our friends were a little reluctant to leave us because it took them hours to leave their enclosure- we even had to bring 3 back in and try again the following day.
Adios amigos!

The proud parents!

Obviously a natural when it comes to handling insects!!

A fab achievement for Lexie

Huge congratulations to Lexie who ran a very impressive 5K in the Race for Life yesterday. We are all very proud of your fantastic achievement- what a star! Love from P3B & Miss McG

Gorgeous Grange in action

A couple of photos of the P3 Grange kiddies from today's outdoor learning activities. The kids were busy capturing photographs, building miniature worlds, constructing tennis ball runs and making story sticks. They worked really well and showed fantastic imagination and creativity in each of the activities. Well done, P3! :)

A day in the great outdoors for Primary 3

Today P3A, 3B and 3C spent the morning enjoying some outdoor learning. In houses, the groups made their way around the 4 activities which were: miniature worlds, tennis ball run, story sticks and photo hunt.

During the photo hunt activity the children were given a list of things to find and they set off in small groups armed with an iPad. Below are some of the images captured by the kids, including some lovely selfies!!
