Planting in P3

A big thank you to the team of parents who helped Primary 3 with the planting. P3B very much enjoyed tasting the pea shoots that we have been growing over the past few months. Their only wish was that we had planted lots more!

Bring a Toy Tuesdays for P3B

P3B have really enjoyed their new topic so far. Last week for 'Bring a Toy Tuesday' the children enjoyed playing some board games together. It has been an excellent opportunity to explore different games and develop the skills required to play successfully with one another.

P3B Dance Show

We hope that you all enjoyed the P3 Dance Show on Friday. The children worked extremely hard to learn their 3 dances and they were so excited to share them with you. We're sure you'll all agree that they were fantastic- we are all very proud. Well done P3.

3B Elements of Art

So far in our Elements of Art topic we have explored: colour, line and shape. This week we have been using lots of different media to learn about tone and how black and white can be used to change colours. 

P3B Golden Time

Greetings from Caitlin, Beth, Hannah, Isla and Amy! The girls are enjoying some well deserved Golden Time and would like to share a photograph that Jess has taken on the iPads with you. Diya and Delphy have also been practising their camera skills.The girls have quite a collection of Beanie Boos!

P3B kick start our art topic

This term in P3 we will be developing our knowledge of the seven elements of art: colour, line, tone, shape, pattern, texture and form. We began this week by looking at colour (primary and secondary) and exploring different hues. Over the coming weeks we are going develop our skills and get creative! Watch this space to see how we get on. 

Meet 'The Blobs' - P3B

In P3B this week we have been discussing a variety of emotions and thinking about body language. 

Meet 'The Blobs'. The Blobs can only feel one emotion and spend their time trying to make others feel the same.

P2C beach trip

Primary 2 had a fab time out at Longniddry beach last Thursday to celebrate the end of their beach topic. The rangers took the children to explore the amazing rock pools, where they found crabs, starfish, fish and other exciting seashore creatures. Back on the beach they had a great time building sandcastles, 'crab houses' and channels to connect different pools of water. They collected shells and went on scavenger and colour hunts, and played a match of football headed up by Mr McKenna and Mr Scott. A fun day out had by all.
