Collaborative working in P3B

Last week, Primary 3B worked collaboratively to learn about Fishing in Scotland. Each group were asked to research one of the following questions:
- Why is fishing important in Scotland?
- What are the dangers of fishing?
- What kinds of fish can be found around Scotland?
- What methods are used to fish in Scotland?

After collecting and displaying their information, the children then took on the teaching role and shared what they had learned with their classmates. The children did a really fantastic job, and worked brilliantly together.

Well done, P3!

Chefs in the Making

Today P3B launched their new Food and Farming topic with a trip to Pizza Express on George IV Bridge.

After washing their hands the children were able to feel the dough and learned six of the seven ingredients required to make it- Pizza Express were very tight lipped about the seventh! They were able to prepare their very own Margarita pizzas and got to taste a variety of different toppings such as: basil, tomatoes, olives, peppers and pepperoni.

A fun day had by all.

 A very excited Primary 3!

I think it's a bit hot for Jack!
